Belle Vue Hotel, Amman aiming to enhance segments’ shares

General manager, Belle Vue Hotel, Amman, Ziad Fostuq spoke with TTG about how Jordan is effectively marketing itself as an all-round tourism destination.

Fostuq shared that considering the property has been newly renovated, and given its prime location, it is now seeking to attract MICE, corporate as well as leisure segments.

“With our strong sales force already in place, we will be sourcing for new corporate partners to add to the existing portfolio. Additionally, we are working closely with local DMC’s on various strategies will enhance the leisure segments,” he revealed.

Additionally, Fostuq shared the various techniques being implemented to attract travellers to the property and assured them to dispel any hesitations about travelling to Jordan, explaining: “We are working hand in hand with the Jordan Tourism Board and Ministry of Tourism along with the local DMC’s, we have been quite successful in delivering the messages that Jordan is a very safe and secure country.

“We focus completely on the positives about Jordan like its culture, history, food and places to visit due to which the political situations surrounding it which are very insignificant can be ignored.”

Furthermore, Fostuq enthused that Jordan, although traditionally sold as a combined destination with Egypt and Lebanon, is relishing the challenge that the country is now a standalone destination.

“With all what Jordan has to offer for different sorts of travellers, Jordan can be a standalone destination as long as the airlines are involved, especially with attractive fares and flexible flight destinations,” he concluded.
